Arizona Food & Drug Industry Education Foundation
The Arizona Food & Drug Industry Education Foundation was established solely and exclusively to support and encourage education, training and instruction for the Arizona Food Industry.
Scholarship
Applications must arrive in the Foundation office no later than May 1st.
Professional Scholar
The scholarship program is designed for the full time student who is carrying at least 9 credit hours and pursuing a college degree. The student must be employed by an AFMA member company and planning a career within the industry. In addition, the student must maintain a 2.0 GPA.
Child Scholar
An additional scholarship program is designed for the children of food industry professionals whose company is a member of AFMA. Students must be pursuing a degree and carry at least 9 credit hours while maintaining a 2.0 GPA.
Tuition Reimbursement
The tuition reimbursement program is designed for the part-time student. The applicant must be a food industry professional employed by an AFMA member company who is pursuing a career in the food industry. Students must carry a minimum of 3 credit hours and maintain a 2.0 GPA.
ASU Polytechnic - Morrison School of Management & Agribusiness
The Morrison School of Management and Agribusiness offers a curriculum emphasizing the fundamentals of business where students are able to develop careers that bring together personal and professional goals. Collaborative environments, including rich internship and practicum experiences, blend practical, real-world experience with academic excellence.
The Morrison School of Management and Agribusiness offers a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness with nine specialized concentrations as well as M.S. in Agribusiness and Ph.D. in Business Administration (Agribusiness) programs.

WAFC Certificate
The Western Association of Food Chains offers a WAFC Retail Management Certificate Program, a 10-course college-level program that has been fully endorsed by the Western Association of Food Chains and its member companies. The certificate's curriculum was developed out of a collaborative effort between several food industry and college professionals and encompasses several business essentials, including the "soft skills" of management and communication required for career success in the retail food industry.
The community colleges in Arizona offer this 10-course program and the Foundation will fund eligible applicants through the Tuition Reimbursement Program.
